Your operational framework.

In Belgium, civil operations fall under the European UAS framework and DGTA oversight. The category depends on operational risk, not simply on whether the activity is commercial.

01 / DEFINE

Classify the operation

OPEN, SPECIFIC or CERTIFIED category: start from the actual scenario, area and flight conditions. A dock does not automatically confer permission to fly beyond visual line of sight.

02 / PREPARE

Organise operations

Remote pilot skills, operator registration, geozones and applicable procedures: prepare the documentation appropriate to your activity.

03 / MONITOR

PIM Fleet brings fleet status and telemetry together. The platform supports your operations; it does not issue flight authorisations.

BEFORE YOU START

The right
questions.

A particular project?

What is PIM Fleet Manager for?

PIM Fleet Manager is drone and dock monitoring software developed by PIM Consult in Belgium. Its purpose is manufacturer-independent, with DJI Enterprise as the first integration. The prototype brings telemetry, inventory and device status together by organisation. It serves police and emergency services and private operators in an invitation-only pilot phase.

Which devices can be connected?

The platform is designed to be manufacturer-independent. DJI Enterprise, through DJI Cloud API, is the first developed integration. Connectors for other manufacturers have not yet been delivered. A drone, remote controller or dock is paired through the manufacturer's application. Compatibility with your exact equipment must be confirmed with our team during the pilot phase. The data model allows other brands to be connected without rebuilding the platform.

Where is the data hosted?

On your own servers or dedicated European infrastructure operated by PIM Consult. You retain ownership of your data. Telemetry is collected by your PIM instance. Network access and third-party integrations need to be defined with your team. Automatic media transfer remains to be developed.

Can the pilot take over?

Yes. A pilot supervises the operation. Control is resumed through the manufacturer's remote controller and application. PIM Fleet Manager supports monitoring and does not replace the device's command chain.

Does the platform allow beyond-visual-line-of-sight flights?

The platform provides monitoring tools. It does not grant flight authorisations. The operator must check the applicable framework, training, risk assessment and operational procedures for each operation. Police and emergency-service framework · Private operator framework

What are the prices and access conditions?

The product is in an invitation-only pilot phase. Accounts are created by the PIM Consult team; there is no open registration. Subscriptions, pricing and deployment terms will be announced at commercial launch. You can already request a discussion about your project.

Can you also operate the surveillance service?

PIM Consult also offers an operated drone surveillance service. Explore the operated service ↗
